🚨 Bitcoin drops sharply, Gold hits a new ATH since Trump exerted tariff pressure
Former President Donald Trump announced a 10% tariff, effective from February 1st, on a series of countries including Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Finland.
According to the announcement, this tariff will increase to 25% starting June 1st if no agreement is reached. The condition set is:
the tariffs will be maintained until the US reaches an agreement to buy back Greenland.
