Yesterday’s 100-point long shadow turned into today’s widespread celebration, and the speed of recovery has reached an extreme. Under this logic, the currently strong trend may continue to strengthen, while the weak trend could also reach an extreme weak point before turning strong. This has led to a batch of gains today, but we can’t just say everything is good, especially since today’s market was obviously heavily influenced by futures trading, making the entire market look a bit like a futures play. Overall, it’s a bit chaotic but still has some clues to follow. [Taogu Ba]
First, the morning rally was driven by the new urbanization mentioned in yesterday’s news, specifically those two development targets. Then, there was a continued surge in the recent darling concepts, followed by cooling in the heavily impacted sectors like commercial aerospace, photovoltaic power generation, and precious metals. Finally, even chips, AI, and robotics saw some gains, almost lifting all sectors with potential for strength. Today, even without movement, some sectors could rise, but expecting a longer rally is still difficult. The main trend remains to push higher and then pull back without hitting the limit up, or hitting the limit up and then exploding.
In this situation, identifying the main trend is still somewhat difficult, but the overall focus should be on recovery, mainly targeting the sectors that declined yesterday. Tomorrow’s market will likely choose between strong stocks and oversold stocks. If it’s strong stocks, it will be the sectors that surged yesterday; if oversold, then metals and aerospace sectors. Yesterday, $Hunan Gold (sz002155)$ saw large-scale buying by a new trader, which could be a sign.
Today’s market is a general rally, with all sectors trending, which means no real hot spots. Tomorrow’s market differentiation will be very important. The strongest sectors tomorrow will be one of the main themes. If a sector shows super-strong performance in a short period, it is likely to see a series of continuous limit-ups. The question is whether the high-value stocks or the first limit-up stocks will lead.
To judge strength, the focus should be on sectors that align with market themes and have active buying. Ideally, the first limit-up should be a one-word limit-up, with continuous series of limit-ups, opening with strong support and closing with strength—these are good stocks. Today’s stocks opened with one-word limit-ups; whether this continues tomorrow remains to be seen. If the strength is enough, it will likely hit the limit-up again, but whether it will be a series of limit-up stocks or just a single strong stock remains to be seen. Since today’s market gave ample expectations, tomorrow’s stocks with series limit-ups might be numerous, but the key is to focus on who can truly rise.
Because the aerospace sector was driven by $Aerospace Development (sz000547)$, there is a possibility of some expected strength in this sector. Since last year’s Pingtan development, this sector has been continuously progressing through various stages, and Aerospace Development has clearly played a leading role. This is somewhat similar to the later Pingtan development, not about how far it can go, but about giving the market a chance to strengthen. Without a leading market giant, the market would lack much value. Whenever the market faces difficulties, Pingtan Development has stepped in to rescue, repeatedly leading to companies like Zhangzhou Development, Yingxin Development, Aerospace Development, Hainan Development, and others. Currently, Pingtan Development’s previous rescue efforts have been quite difficult, mainly supported by Hefei China and Straits Innovation, but with limited success. Now, this responsibility has been handed over to Aerospace Development, which will likely take on this role.
In the future, Aerospace Development may become similar to Pingtan Development, balancing between driving the market and not continuously lifting prices. It will be another main card for the market. If the main players switch from Pingtan Development to Aerospace Development, then Aerospace Development will become a key observation point, triggering ongoing attention to the development series. For example, when Pingtan Development rises, watch Aerospace Development; when Aerospace Development rises, watch Hainan Development; then Yingxin Development. Continuous strength could lead to a sustained rally. Currently, it might be the turn of these two sectors.
Yesterday’s news highlighted positive developments in the real estate sector, mainly focusing on new urbanization. There are two sectors worth noting: Beijing Investment Development and Urban Construction Development. Both are one-word limit-ups, so no one can enter yet, but this provides an upward observation direction. After discussing so much, the key is to see which of these two sectors can go higher and sustain. The best scenario is a limit-up tomorrow, but whether it will be a one-word limit-up is uncertain.
Other sectors’ strength may also have reasons, but if we pursue the strongest sectors, we should look for those with the most potential for sustained strength. Currently, both sectors are at the same starting point, unable to enter these two stocks. If correct, these sectors could be the future strong sectors. If not, other reasons are still valid. We’ve discussed the rationale behind photovoltaic, AI, aerospace, chips, robotics, and metals sectors. The real question is who will be the strongest, which is what we need to focus on now. Otherwise, staying still is also an option.
