U.S. Central Command confirms shooting down an Iranian drone

U.S. Central Command spokesperson Tim Hawkins stated on February 3rd local time that a U.S. stealth fighter shot down an Iranian drone in the Arabian Sea. At the time, the drone was approaching the U.S. Navy’s Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier with “unknown intentions.”

Hawkins added that no U.S. personnel were injured and no U.S. equipment was damaged in the incident.
