Related business activities are classified as illegal financial activities, facing risks such as loan cuts, power cuts, internet disconnection, and credit risks, and will bear legal responsibilities. Relevant personnel will also be held accountable under party discipline, government discipline, and legal laws. Investments in virtual currencies and related derivatives are invalid, and any resulting losses are to be borne by the investors themselves. The notice requires: banning all forms of "mining" such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.; township governments, communication, and electricity departments should strengthen investigations and supervision based on territorial and industry principles to crack down on illegal "mining" activities.
