Today is the second day of the Spring Festival travel rush. The national railway is expected to transport 11.15 million passengers, with 879 additional passenger trains scheduled. Passenger flow at various stations is well organized, and operations are orderly. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Chengdu-Chongqing, and other regions remain popular departure and arrival areas. The Beijing Railway Bureau of the China Railway Corporation expects to send 900,000 passengers, with Beijing area expected to handle 446,300 passengers. The Yangtze River Delta railway is projected to transport 2.25 million passengers today. The Guangzhou Railway Bureau plans to operate 2,890 high-speed train sets to meet passenger travel demands.
