According to CCTV News, on February 2nd, the Human-shaped Robot Innovation Research Institute at Zhejiang University Hangzhou International Sci-Tech Innovation Center officially launched the world’s first full-size humanoid robot “Bolt” with a peak speed of 10 meters per second. This achievement marks a significant breakthrough in China’s high-speed movement and control of humanoid robots. The full-size humanoid robot Bolt, which runs at 10 m/s, is also the world’s first full-size humanoid robot to reach a peak speed of 10 m/s. The humanoid robot Bolt is 175 cm tall and weighs 75 kg, built as a technological foundation to approach human movement capabilities.

According to CCTV News, on January 21st, the State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the progress of industrial and information technology development by 2025.
During the conference, it was announced that under artificial intelligence driving, industry is evolving beyond expectations. By 2025, the number of domestic complete machine enterprises will exceed 140, with over 330 humanoid robot products released. On April 19, 2025, the world’s first humanoid robot half marathon was launched in Yizhuang, Beijing. The full-size humanoid robot “Tiangong Ultra” won the race with a time of 2 hours, 40 minutes, and 42 seconds, setting a new world record.
Currently, China’s humanoid robots are capable of “standing steadily, walking steadily, and running quickly,” and are accelerating from “moving on stage” and “running in competitions” to “being used at home” and “working in factories.”
