U.S. Department of Labor: Non-farm payrolls to be released on February 11, CPI data moved to February 13
ChainCatcher reports that, according to Jintian Data, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that the release date for the January non-farm employment report has been scheduled for February 11; the January CPI report will be released on February 13.
Additionally, the December Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey will be released on February 5. Previously, due to a partial government shutdown in the United States, some data releases were delayed, but the shutdown ended late Tuesday local time, and funding for the operations of the Department of Labor and most other government agencies will be maintained until September 30. It is reported that, in addition to the regular monthly employment and unemployment rate data, the January employment report will also include the highly anticipated annual employment data revisions.
