In 2025, Shenzhen’s import and export volume reached 4.55 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.4%. The scale of imports and exports and exports ranks among the top in inland cities. As a policy insurance company, today a reporter learned from China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation Shenzhen Branch that in 2025, the company’s foreign trade export scale in Shenzhen exceeded $110 billion, a year-on-year increase of 15%; total claims paid nearly 1.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 36%; serving over 30,000 foreign trade enterprises. Regionally, in 2025, the company’s insured export and investment amount from Shenzhen enterprises to countries jointly building the “Belt and Road” exceeded $52 billion, a 42% increase; insured exports to the U.S. exceeded $14 billion, a reverse trend growth of 123%; insured amounts to RCEP countries and emerging markets exceeded $21.2 billion and $43.4 billion respectively, with growth of 77% and 49%.
