TotalEnergies has acquired a 42.5% operated interest in Namibia’s PEL104 exploration licence, expanding its holdings in the country. This new licence is located north of its existing Venus development and the Mopane mega-discovery. The company aims to be the first to produce oil from Namibia by the end of the decade and plans further exploration efforts.
