The UK initiates sunset review investigation on anti-dumping measures against Chinese-related iron or non-alloy steel welded pipes

On January 27, 2026, the UK Trade Remedies Authority issued a notice of initiation of sunset review investigations on anti-dumping measures concerning welded tubes and pipes of iron or non-alloy steel originating from China and Belarus. The review was initiated upon application by UK company TATA STEEL UK LIMITED to examine whether the continuation or re-establishment of the current anti-dumping measures would be necessary if they were to be revoked, and whether the dumping and injury to the UK domestic industry would persist or recur. The customs codes for the involved products in the UK are 7306 3041 20, 7306 3049 20, 7306 3072 80, and 7306 3077 80.
