Changchun Airport, in cooperation with 10 airlines, has launched measures such as “encryption, upgrading, restoration, and optimization.” Flight density to key destinations like Beijing Daxing, Shanghai Pudong, Guangzhou, Qingdao, and Hangzhou will be increased, with an expected addition of 818 flights; some flights on routes from Changchun to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Sanya, and Seoul will be replaced with wide-body aircraft to enhance capacity, planning to upgrade 470 large aircraft; several planned routes such as Changchun-Yantai/Linyi-Hong Kong operated by Longhao Airlines and Changchun-Xi’an operated by Chengdu Airlines will be restored; multiple stopover routes like Changchun-Changsha-Xishuangbanna operated by China Southern Airlines, Changchun-Weihai-Shanghai Pudong operated by Shanghai Airlines, Changchun-Zhengzhou-Xiamen operated by China Eastern Airlines, and Changchun-Qingdao-Shanghai Pudong operated by Juneyao Airlines will be converted to direct flights, significantly reducing travel time for passengers.
