Indian hospital chain Apollo beats quarterly profit view on high demand for specialty care

Feb 10 (Reuters) - India’s Apollo Hospitals ​Enterprise posted ‌a bigger-than-expected rise in ‌quarterly profit on Tuesday, its seventh straight quarter ⁠of profit ‌increase, as demand for specialty ‍care services climbed.

The company’s consolidated net ​profit rose to ‌5.02 billion rupees ($55.47 million) for the third quarter ended December 31, ⁠from 3.72 ​billion rupees.

That ​was above analysts’ average estimates of ‍4.82 ⁠billion rupees, per data compiled ⁠by LSEG.
