SEC Says Clarity Has Finally Arrived.

Atkins: "We have now provided clarity from the SEC's perspective on what is and what is not a security."

SEC Chairman Paul Atkins stated that the agency is breaking from past practices and drawing clearer lines in the digital assets space. This new interpretive release also includes collaboration with the CFTC.

Atkins stated that the SEC has identified four types of assets that are not securities:
- Digital commodities
- Digital utilities
- Digital collectibles
- Stablecoins

For an industry that has long been seeking regulatory clarity, this is a statement worth noting.
