A father told his daughter: "Congratulations on your graduation. I bought you a car a while ago. I want you to have it now."

Before I give it to you, take it to a dealership in the city and sell it. Let's see how much they offer you.

The girl returned to her father and told him: "They offered me 10,000 dollars because it looks very old."

Her father told her: "Okay, now take it to a pawn shop."

The girl returned to her father and told him: "At the pawn shop they offered me 1,000 dollars because it's a very old car and needs a lot of repairs."

Her father told her to join a car club with experts and show them the car.

The girl went to the car club.

After a few hours, she returned to her father and told him: "Some club members offered me 100,000 dollars because it's a rare car and it's in good condition."

Then the father said: "I wanted you to know that you are not worthless if you're not in the right place. If people don't appreciate you, don't get angry; it simply means you're in the wrong place. Don't stay somewhere where nobody recognizes your value."

The moral of the story: Recognize your worth and where you are appreciated. A diamond doesn't shine at the bottom of a cave.
