JUST IN: Meta has begun a new round of layoffs that will affect several hundred employees across various departments, including sales, recruiting, and Reality Labs, as the company increases its investment in artificial intelligence and projects record capital expenditures by 2026.


The cuts impact employees in the U.S. and other international markets, with fewer than 1,000 positions affected.
