How much can we give up for a sense of security?

At least here, definitely more.
Of course, most of the time it's passive.
But looking at those proactive countries,
they've actually given up a lot too.
That's human nature.
It's easy to concede private rights to public authority,
but it's even harder to reclaim them later.
