Techub News reports that, with reference to Xinhua News Agency and the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting and Television, Iran’s Parliament Speaker Kalibaf will hold talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz today to determine the timing and format of negotiations between Iran and the United States.

Also, according to Tasnim News Agency, during the talks, Iran will raise the issue of the United States breaking its commitments with the Pakistani prime minister. Prerequisites for launching the negotiations include unfreezing Iranian assets and a ceasefire in Lebanon. The United States has informed Pakistan and agreed to these prerequisites and some other conditions for initiating negotiations. Iran’s delegation plans to assess the U.S. stance and its fulfillment of commitments during the talks before deciding whether to negotiate with the U.S. side. In another report, Tasnim News Agency said that if Iran and the U.S. can hold negotiations, the current plan is for the talks to begin later on the 11th, and they may last only one day.
