Solana Co-Founder Yakovenko Warns of a Cold War with Ethereum
Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founder of Solana, warns of a cold war that could begin between Ethereum (ETH) and other blockchain networks. He states that negative campaigns against Ethereum are damaging to the ecosystem and that negative attitudes towards so-called "ETH Killers" protocols are harmful.
According to Yakovenko, creating such a perception against Ethereum is detrimental to the ecosystem and threatens protocols with the idea of killing each other. Emphasizing that different protocols can exist with each other without any problems, Yakovenko states that it is normal for effective technologies to overlap features and competition, and that he does not see a future where Solana succeeds and Ethereum dies.
Yakovenko also takes a positive view of a technology called "Danksharding". This technology is a method of scaling the Ethereum rollup, which allows cheaper blocks to be added to the blockchain. Yakovenko predicts that the Danksharding technology will have enough bandwidth to host all of Solana's data in the future.
Stating that Solana and ETH, the largest altcoin, can coexist and even coincide with each other, Yakovenko's comments on Ethereum attract the attention of the cryptocurrency world.
Despite the growing interest in Solana, Yakovenko warns community members about unhealthy competition with the Ethereum protocol, citing the MakerDAO issue. Rune Christensen, the co-founder and CEO of MakerDAO, received positive backlash from Solana supporters after announcing plans to fork the protocol to the Solana Blockchain, claiming that the move would be the best move.
Yakovenko hopes that this is generally a win-win situation and that individuals in the Solana community will not use it as a weapon against Ethereum. A user named jebus.eth from the Ethereum community made a negative post about Solana, and Yakovenko quickly responded to this post, emphasizing that the Solana network aims to establish a fully decentralized digital space and ensure the free flow of communications and transactions without the control of capitalist intermediaries and state supervision. #ContentStar #GateLive #BountyCreator
