Case-Shiller is saying that the cost of buying a home in the US has been going down for 7 months in a row now. The drop for this month is 0.42%, which is not good news for people who want to sell their homes. This means that compared to last year, the price of homes has only gone up by 2.55%, which is the slowest increase since November 2019. The Composite 10 SA shows that home prices in 10 big cities went up by 2.5% in the past year. The National index SA shows that the cost of homes across the whole country went up by 3.8%.
