Gold Finance reported that according to a New York prosecutor, a man who was sentenced to house arrest for his alleged involvement in a $180 million Kripto Para fraud scheme seems to have escaped after tampering with his ankle monitor. The pretrial service agency issued an alert to the government almost immediately seeking an arrest warrant for the fugitive, approximately 12 hours after Jicha’s ankle bracelet stopped working.
