How Have My Recent Trades Been? Did I Short the Market?
Hey friends, time for real talk on my trades lately! 📊 Market's been a slaughterhouse—BTC from $126k+ highs to $60k dip yesterday (now rebounding ~$70k), gold/silver wild swings, stocks down hard. How'd I handle it?
Honestly: Yes, I shorted parts of it. Late Jan/early Feb, when BTC cracked $80k-$70k resistance, I did some short scalps—nailed a few good ones on the way down, especially leverage flush zones. Gold too: Went short around $5,000+ peaks expecting correction, covered lower and flipped long on the dip. Stocks/tech exposure took hits but not crypto-level pain.
Overall: ~15-20% drawdown on portfolio, but no panic sells. Shorts paid off short-term (nice wins closing them), now I'm flipping to accumulation mode—slowly buying BTC in $60k-$65k area post-flush. Realized loss records signal bottoming process; capitulation usually precedes bounce.
